We are here to help.
Our Mission
Established in 2018, the Women-in-Transition (WIT) program was created to provide Mary’s Home graduates with vital supplemental support for rent, transportation, utilities, and other essential expenses. This program empowers new mothers to forge a self-sufficient future for themselves and their children, breaking the cycle of generational poverty.
Why the Women-In-Transition Program Matters
- Preventing Homelessness: Financial support ensures that women living independently are not at risk of homelessness.
- Avoiding Relapse: Without assistance, many women could be drawn back into harmful relationships or destructive cycles of addiction.
- Fostering Confidence: Stability provides mothers with the resilience to face challenges and continue striving for a better life.
- Ongoing Guidance: Graduates maintain regular contact with Mary’s Home for mentorship and emotional support, reinforcing their progress.
- Paving the Way for Success: With stability, women can sustain healthy habits, pursue education, and secure higher-paying jobs for a brighter future.
Why This Program is Critical
For many women, stress, anxiety, and fear can trigger a return to unhealthy coping mechanisms—addiction, toxic relationships, or other detrimental behaviors. The Women-In-Transition Program offers a crucial safety net, delivering financial security and emotional stability to keep them on track.
This initiative not only transforms the lives of individual mothers and their children but also allows Mary’s Home to extend its reach to more women in need, expanding our impact on the community.
The Difference Your Support Makes
Your generosity ensures that this life-changing program continues, breaking the cycle of generational poverty and providing mothers with the tools to thrive. Women who were once homeless, pregnant, and uncertain about their futures can now embrace independence, financial security, and healthier lives.
These transformative lessons are passed on to their children, creating a new generation equipped to thrive and contribute to society. Together, we can offer hope, stability, and a path to lasting success for these families.
Thank you for believing in our mission and making a difference in the lives of so many.
