A Gift in Your Will:<br>Create a Lasting Legacy

A Gift in Your Will:
Create a Lasting Legacy

A gift in your will, also known as a bequest, is a powerful way to leave a lasting legacy and make a meaningful impact on future generations. Once your loved ones are provided for, we invite you to consider extending your commitment to mothers and babies by including Mary’s Home in your estate plans. Your thoughtful planning can help ensure that life-saving services are provided into the future.

There are several ways you can make a bequest to Mary’s Home:

  • Specific Bequest: Leave a fixed dollar amount or a percentage of your estate’s value to Mary’s Home in your will or living trust.
  • Residual Bequest: Designate the remaining portion of your estate to Mary's Home after other expenses and beneficiaries have been taken care of.
  • Contingent Bequest: Name Mary's Home as a contingent beneficiary, meaning we would only receive the gift if your primary beneficiaries are no longer living at the time of your passing.

To ensure your wishes are carried out, simply provide the following sample bequest language to your estate planning attorney:

Sample Bequest Language:

“I give and bequeath to Mary's Home of the Treasure Coast, Inc., a nonprofit organization with federal tax ID number 26-3714519 and a current mailing address of PO Box 958 Stuart, FL 34995 US, the sum of $                  [or                   % of my estate] for its general purposes.”

If you wish to support a specific program or initiative, please reach out to us at 772-223-5000 to ensure your gift can be used as intended and that it aligns with our ongoing needs.
